I feel like if I were a customer I'd want to know so I could get it one last time?
I always let people know before we stop selling seasonal beverages. Gives me a chance to upsell and there's less wasted product

It’s not leaking info since Starbucks officially came out with a weekly update saying it was leaving, idk who is saying it is
Sirmarchboy2221 points1y ago
It was officially posted in the update, but not officially announced publicly to my knowledge

A mod on r/Starbucks just click on my post history and see the meme post here I made and find the mod locking the sub
Responsible_Snow710910 points1y ago
The mod was talking about the drink thats coming out which is leaking info if u talk about it but that mod has stated either in that post or another recent one that starbucks itself has accidentally leaked the new drink on the app or in an email somehow. They werent talking about the kiwi thing.
mulderufo13 [OP]3 points1y ago
But why was it mentioned on my post? It does not make sense I had no idea of the other drink, and I don’t understand why the comments were locked over it
StormTheParade6 points1y ago
Oh lordy lmao I should have been clearer I guess
It wasn't you, it was other commenters. That's why your post stayed up, the post itself was fine
Responsible_Snow71094 points1y ago
I think maybe the comments got locked over it so that no other barista elaborates on the new drink coming out, im not sure but im assuming thats why. But the new drink was probly mentioned in ur post cuz somebody probly was excited that the kiwi is going away and then maybe it unraveled from there with another person becoming excited or curious that another drink is coming in but starbucks itself already leaked what the new drink will be anyway so idk 🤷♀️

YESS KIWI NEEDS TO DIE
thatswackrhi11 points1y ago
I havent had kiwi in my store for at least two or three months away
Sirmarchboy225 points1y ago
Technically posting anything that's in an update before starbucks officially announces it is 100% illegal and leaking info. I'm not a narc or a kiss ass so idgaf but when your in a position like the mods on these subs they could get the whole sub shutdown by sbux if they don't muzzle you sometimes.
oooortcloud3 points1y ago
It is not illegal. It’s against Starbucks policy. You could lose your job but you wouldn’t face charges.
Sirmarchboy221 points1y ago
Not entirely true, cause you sign in your contract to not disclose company information like that. To my knowledge it's breaking contract which you could face charges
oooortcloud2 points1y ago
It isn’t a formal contract or NDA, it’s an employment contract. If you violate the contract, you lose your job. That’s it.
Sirmarchboy221 points1y ago
At least I california an employer can push legal action for breach in contract
panrosecass3 points1y ago
ive been telling everyone who tried to order it so oh well LMAO
MemesandSpeech3 points1y ago
Im taking all them refresher boxes before my store throws em out
Minute-General-20903 points1y ago
Only four times did customers buy this and the amount of times I dumped full pitchers of kiwi bases away 😂💀 but kiwi did kind of slap tho 🤷♀️
Paverunner2 points1y ago
Leaking info? Who gives a crap? Whoever told you that can go suck an egg.
mulderufo13 [OP]3 points1y ago
A mod on the Starbucks sub lmao
straitdick2 points1y ago
I just sold my first one today what the fuck.
Easy-Tangerine-72511 points1y ago
I feel like I’m the only person in my store who is genuinely mourning this
FfierceLaw0 points1y ago
I don’t drink any of our refreshers but I did like that one was bright green, I will miss seeing the contrast in our pitchers. The new one is more yellow. Edit: I didn’t stress about the green stains
