Are managers allowed to schedule you at different stores? (self.starbucksbaristas)

A friend of mine had his manager schedule him at a different store. The manager let him know he was scheduling him there, but didn’t ask, it was more of an fyi. Are they allowed to just schedule you at random stores?

Per the partner guide, yes they are. It says something along the lines of “you may be asked to work at other stores in your area and are expected to do so”

Yes. This is always true. You are hired to work at *any* Starbucks at any time.
