I still have the old ovens, and I LOVE THEM! We still keep our times around 45s and rarely have a problem with them. Plus, I hear a lot of shitty things about the new ones, like how they can cause vertigo and whatnot

Vertigo? My store has had the new ovens since before I got hired so I don't even know what the difference is, but I honestly can't think of any way the new ones would cause vertigo!

It was a huuuge thing here on Reddit when the ovens first came out. Somewhere in the oven’s things, they also apparently warned that they can cause vertigo, and that you should switch people every like 10 minutes

Edit: this is what I read here on Reddit, I’m not 100% sure because I don’t have the ovens at my store haha

during morning rushes where i'm solely on oven, sometimes the heat from them makes me feel a bit dizzy, but the rushes never really last that long so it isn't too bad

New wrap? The bacon sausage wrap? This was an old wrap we've had that got temporarily discontinued during that huge shortage last year. And the southwest veggie wrap. They were so good. It is gonna be harder now that we're used to just the food we have. But we did it with the old ovens before. I think most stores will be alright lol

I have no idea. They were both temporarily discontinued. We only just got word about the bacon sausage wrap. I haven't heard anything about the southwest before wrap though

We got the new ovens about a month ago. We were the last store in our district to get them and only because one was so broken down the tech refused to fix it. I remember when we had the all three wraps before covid and it completely wrecked out OTW times, especially since customers asked for them warned twice.

i don’t care how bad the new ovens are, we’ve had them for over a year and my dreams are still haunted by the god awful “eh eh eh” of the old ovens. new oven beep >>> old oven SCREAM

I’m not worried because my target Starbucks never getting any of the new shit 😎 we also don’t have any bagels, almond croissants, kale egg bites, oatmeal butter, sriracha, cream cheese, or avocado spread. Probably more but that’s just what I get asked for regularly.

I’ve been asked for doughnuts before? That may just be a confusion with dunkin tho Lmao

at our target starbucks we used to have plain and everything bagels AND cream cheese, but one day they suddenly disappeared and never came back. we definitely did have the bacon sausage wrap though so maybe yours will get it too.

I like how if you let the old ovens beep “done” long enough, they get passive aggressive with the beeps
