Just finished what I thought would be a nice SHORT 4 hour shift. HOWEVER the rudeness of the drive-thru customers seem to have magically elongated my shift. It’s just exhausting. The customers who hold their phone or money out without even glancing your way when you try to greet them just piss me off. The icing on top of the cake is not even getting a thank you or anything other than a flat expressionless face. Today some guy got mad and threw a tray back at the window on the little ledge because I had walked away from him to take a drive thru order after giving him ALL his items, he’d said thanks and I’d said have a nice day. A few seconds later he yelled at me to get him a honey packet. I was in the middle of helping out a customer and taking their order so I said yes but didn’t get it right away. So he got mad after a while and threw the tray and gave me a dirty look as he drove away. Like I’m sorry sir you are not the only customer in the entire store 😀 Wait your freaking turn if you won’t ask right when I’m giving you the things you ordered. Anyways yeah it’s just so tiring having rude customer after rude customer. Why can’t people simply say thank you or have a little patience.

I had a old man have a complete meltdown on me because he ordered a black coffee and was angry to find out his black coffee had no sugar in it. Even though I asked if he wanted sugar or cream when he was ordering

Yes I agree completely. It's like in my past shift car after car it's like most people lose any sence of respect, patience, or compassion in the drive thru....

Thats so annoying. U dont deserve to be treated like that. Just cuz he didnt say honey packets at the speaker box or while u were tending to his order still by handing it out and taking his payment, he gets mad at u? Hes not the only damn person going to that store. Some people have main character syndrome and this is one of those cases
