What's the deal with the barista trainer bonus? Is there a bonus? How do you get the bonus?
We've had three new trainers in the last year, and two of them have trained a few people, but never received their bonus? A previous partner had said that the training has to be done by one trainer start to finish..?
and that literally never happens in my store. A green bean will be tossed between 2-3 trainers, if the training actually gets finished.
My ASM said I could train the newest green bean cause I need the money, but my SM gave half her training to one of the golden kids of the store.

It’s true unfortunately about the bonus only being if you’re sole trainer. :/ If it happens every time, though, you could always reach out to your SM or DM to see if they can stop that. On top of that, though, it could be for availability purposes trainers vs the trainees. Not even in general just maybe the week of training or something.

I believe you get the bonus right after the person is trained? I think you have to get with your manager for them to input the bonus in… ( my manager would forget so catch me getting my bonus by asking her to give it to me lol)
Also if the green beans are being passed around to each trainer , that’s a scheduling issue, I feel like you should be assigned a trainee and stick with them the whole time , that’s what we do at our store , but also try talking to your manager about scheduling your trainee on your days.
