Well today is the day I sit down with our SM and another SM for the official assessment/interview. I have been told to answer questions using the STAR method and I’ve seen the type of questions they will ask but I dont think I’ve ever been this nervous. Any tips or words of advice are greatly appreciated 😊🤞🏽

Don’t use “STAR”
Use “CARL”

This actually offers up a lot more insight into how you grew as a leader through the situation you proffer up

In my experience being honest about your nerves has helped, and focusing on the partner and customer experiences. You got this! :)

Make your answers into stories! Starbucks interviews is all about story telling.

I've always found with development interviews two things are key:
1) being able to speak to implementing the mission and values And 2) being able to speak to how you've cleared the transition steps in the Ops Guide from barista to shift, and how you are able to work at Shift Pattern & approach in your current role.
U got this!!!!

There’s a way to find the exact questions they ask but I can’t remember how…
