Hi, I recently went into a Starbucks after submitting my application and had an interview. It went pretty well, the manager also asked questions about availability and stuff of that sort. He then sent me the stuff for a background check. I know it’ll come back clear, he also asked me if I would be available to start training next week but never directly said I was hired. Does all of this mean I got the job?

At pretty much any job it’s a guarantee you’re hired unless you have a bad record. Since the company has to pay for background checks.

I’m surprised he didn’t even say you’re hired! I mean usually they wait until the background check comes back before even scheduling any kind of training

I mean I’m a minor (16 going on 17 in July) so I guess he didn’t really expect anything to come up.
