When a customer asks for a blended caramel macchiato what do you guys do? I personally tell them we don’t have it but I can make them a caramel frap with an add shot but they usually change their minds. I just feel rude sometimes telling them that sometimes.

my store will just make a iced caramel macchiato and throw it in the blender. a customer said I should try it, and it’s lowkey really good.

A customer ordered two of those with 6 shots yesterday and we were so confused. I looked it up when I got home and it’s a vanilla bean frap with an affogato shot and caramel drizzle.

That sounds accurate but i mean theyre confusing baristas since its not like a menu item to blend a caramel macchiato. So they should be able to tell us or show us the recipe if they want it as the way it shows online where its a vanilla bean frappuccino with an affogato shot and caramel drizzle. But i guess some people actually want the literal caramel macchiato thrown into a blender and blended

I agree. I didn’t know it was a “secret menu drink” until I looked it up. It’s frustrating that customers actually believe there’s a secret menu and that we know everything single drink that they see on tik tok

Lol i didnt kno either til reading ur comment cuz I personally haven't had anybody asked me for a blended caramel macchiato but I'm sure there is some customers out there that actually want a caramel macchiato made and then thrown into the blender and Blended but I'm also sure that there's other customers out there that want it made the secret menu way and they should specify that by showing the secret menu recipe or by stating exactly what they want by themselves word for word

the vbean with an affogato shot and caramel drizzle is really good actually i’ve had it before. but my store will make an iced caramel macchiato and just blend it. it’s quite liquidy but ig it’s what they want.

Somewhere along the same lines: had someone mobile order a mocha (or was it java chip) frappuccino with no ice. No fooling, and I even verified it with the customer when they showed up. It was legitimately what they wanted. Some days, right?

Honestly, most of the time I’ve heard this people just want a caramel frap or the caramel ribbon crunch frap. They just don’t know how to ask for it. I feel like so many people think “macchiato” is necessary to get caramel anything lol.
