any other hot state stores dying of heat exhaustion?(self.starbucksbaristas)

aka: TIL seattle corporate controls the thermostat for almost every store nationwide, which means while they have a nice cool spring in seattle, my southern california store gets to bake with little to no AC 🥵

Yessss ☹️ We get to absolutely bake like cookies down here in Georgia

Your SM can just email in and get it adjusted. Ours has ours moved twice a year.

My state is also super humid so we literally sweat. It’s hot ALL the time.

Dawg.. 93° in California, heater blasting. RIP

My store is the exact opposite. We had to put a heater in the back because of how cold it is. It was 85 last week and I still brought a jacket in with me.

Me and a good bit of my co workers usually get sick from working in the high stress environment plus the store being on 72 degrees

Yeah if the A/C isn’t working just put a work order in to facilities on mydaily. We still should have enough control over it to kick on A/C, we just can only changed it +|- 2 degrees. In the past stores (I’ve worked at!) would be turning them all the way down to freeze out customers 🙃

it's not that it doesn't work, it's that the 2 degree difference doesn't help 😅
