Never posted here, but this had to be my first 😂 my manager is training an outside hire (for sm position). Today, he put THIS as the name label for some police officers that come in every day. We obviously took them off all the items before handing them out. (i.redd.it)

Don’t even get me started on this guy. Been at our store for 3 weeks and still can’t make a drink or take an accurate order. Gonna be a SM any day now.

in the same boat with our outside hire becoming SM. Thinks they know everything and dont listen. They lie, gaslight, and victimize themselves. Im just over here *watching them get paid more then me* when all they do is make people cry

i’m almost 6 months in and i still do so much shit wrong. i’ve been putting in 2 pumps of syrup for tall espresso drinks for example. and when it’s busy, i won’t correctly follow the routines in order for fraps and hot bev. i would say i still have a lot to learn.

We have firemen that come through and sometimes we put firemen or sometimes just FIRE so we know to rush their drinks since they can be called out at any moment.

My manager is pregnant and Due on May 28th and I'm extremely worried about them bringing in an outside hire temporarily for 3 months. I hope it doesn't turn into a shitshow

That’s exactly what happened to my store. I wound up quitting because the new outside hire sm was so awful and it felt like he was intentionally screwing us over. My old sm is already back now because the new sm ran our 60k/week store into the ground in her absence

Oh man. Im terrified now. My shift said the new manager can do anything such as change every peoples shifts around to not reflect their availability anymore if she wanted to. Is that true? This new sm is only guna be there for 3 months

Had ASM’s training at my store at one point as baristas and honestly needed two extra partners to make the floor work while they were there. It’s hard work and yes training takes time but one of them had been on their second 3 week cycle of barista training and it didn’t end up working out for them with the company.

Don’t know what happened with the other one because they moved to another store but yeah that was fun. . .
