Howard said a lot of nothing in 50 minutes, but also left a lot out... (self.starbucksbaristas)

What he didn't say - and quite honestly what the media quickly glosses over this when they publish articles about the union push - is just how badly behaved some customers have become. Starbucks corporate needs to publicly (like, big time social media and news coverage public, not some puny news release) stand up for employees against bad customers. He's "being assaulted by unionization" wtf -- baristas are being assaulted, literally.
Howard, tell customers that they can and will be banned. Give us scripts to work from so even the more shy members of our staff can feel empowered to defend themselves.
Condemn TicTock drinks and announce that there is no such thing as a secret menu!! Even if you give us the recipe, there is no guarantee it will taste the same as the one the nice girl from Target made.
Give the mobile ordering app an overhaul with input from real baristas and educate customers how it works! It's not skipping the line - it's joining a virtual line instead. And as automated as everything else is, the MOP system should totally be able to reject new orders when it's been inundated with food and/or fraps.
It's probably too late to stop the Starbucks union push, so maybe this is really word to the wise for the rest of the food industry. Entry level jobs are everywhere. I want to work where I feel valued and safe. If you pay me juuuuuust enough, and protect me from evil customers, I probably won't vote union.
