Redeeming stars for shots question (self.starbucksbaristas)

We have a regular customer and he orders 80 espresso shots and uses his stars .. can he use 150 stars for all of them or does he need to use 600 stars for all the shots since it’s 20 shots per venti cup?

WTF do you do with 80 stale semi-cold shots? If your machines are calibrated and running well it will take roughly 13-15 mins to pull all those shots.

If he tied up my machine during my peak this way, I would literally shoot him. 😡And my customers would be non-too happy. js
As it is, I have a semi-regular who orders anywhere from 3-5 Iced venti 4 or 5 long shot 3p WM. And she always manages to find a terrible spot, either before or after a large delivery order etc (I'm always mobile bar) in other words the worst possible moment. 🤦

I wouldn’t do 80 whatever the app allows I would do. If he wants to get another drink and do add shots to reach 80 they can. They would need multiple cups therefore it’s different drinks. Also 80 is a lot and would back up orders a lot and the shots would be cold by the time you finish pulling them. I would try to do 12 shots per venti (that’s the limit on the app) so 6 ventis
