Is it really necessary to put different flavors of cake pops into different bags? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Customer rolls up, asks for 2 cake pops, different flavors, I put both in the same bag and hand it out. Coworker complains and says I shouldn’t be doing it. What’s the problem with it? Is it really that big of a deal to mention it??

When in doubt, the more wasteful way is the right way.

It’s extra cross contamination technically. Also sometimes kids want their own bags.
