I've been there before.. literally trying to hold yourself together till you can get to the back to find a corner to hunch down in to cry..
Do not be ashamed to ask for help if you need it (sometimes even if you think you might need it soon, better to be ahead if you think a rush is coming..).
Don't drink too much caffeine during your shift! I'm totally guilty of this and it makes me anxious about nothing..
What about cold bar do you think is harder for you? The recipes? The way its set up? Less time practicing it? Some cold bar set ups are awkward to use and it really slows you down and backs things up. Maybe try switching where things are when its slower and see if it helps? I also only open and work small shifts so I'm off early to go to my other job and there are some cold bar drinks I rarely make and honestly can't remember the recipe to save my life (my coworkers are always around to help, teamwork woot!).
Just let your shift know that you don't feel as strong on cold bar and that you may need to ask for help if things get crazy. I've found being open about it and asking for tips or some constructive criticism to help grow as a partner let's people know that you know its might not be your strongest area but you want to grow and learn.
Take a deep breath, don't over caffeinate, be open to what people say, and keep slaying it! 🥰

im so sorry that happened today. i get that it gets super overwhelming sometimes, but it happens and all we can do is get through it ! please don’t beat yourself up for what happened, because it really wasn’t your fault - during crazy rushes, it’s good idea to have a super experienced, comfortable barista at the station rather than someone who isn’t completely comfortable. and that’s completely okay! you aren’t at stage one, you’re gonna bounce back even better. please don’t beat yourself up!

My manager is very nice about this. His advice is to always get off the floor. Go to a supervisor, tell them you’re having a really hard time or panic attack, remove yourself from the floor for about 5 minutes and return when you’re feeling better
