Do anyone know a legitimate reason why backwards hats are a no no? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I honestly don’t understand why wearing your hat backwards is such a bad thing? In the world of Starbucks, is a backwards hat like really the most “unprofessional” thing you see? It keeps my hair out of the way (better in fact than when it’s forward) and I’m wearing a hat per standard. Why do people act like I committed a huge crime?

Right? I just don’t understand why it’s such a bad thing.
I also have migraines and when my hat is forward, it hits my pressure points and triggers them. Backwards they don’t. (And I’ve tried other hats. All hit the same 2-3 inch area that triggers my migraines)

Try wearing a soft beanie. I prefer my visor since it's usually pretty warm in my store but I always have a beanie in my bag for when my migraines hit.

I live in the Deep South so it’s really hot and our ac is jacked up. I’ve tried beanies before but they never seem to fit properly so I spend like 15 minutes trying to get the seam to not be stupid and get frustrated and beg my hat.

I wear mine backwards a lot but when I see my manger or dm I flip it forward so fast haha

There are a few shifts at my new store who don’t care and I can wear it backwards but then there are the psycho ones.

I had a situation where our dm came in, my hat was backwards and I wasn’t wearing an apron bc it kept snagging on everything and we were in the middle of a pretty bad rush.

i sure had fun reading the dress code for the first time, they really just don't want to admit that it's basically business casual.

I mean it’s pretty relaxed but it’s honestly kinda controlling. Sad thing is I could almost recite it word for word bc of how many times I have read it.
