Starbucks Baristas: The daily grind

Burned my hand badly while making an americano. Was only on the clock for 2 hours, but left due to extreme pain. Used my sick hours for the rest of my shift, but feel as if it’s wrong to have to use my personal sick time for an injury that happened on the job. Also, what can I claim for this? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Make an incident report if you haven't already. You may be able to get workers comp or something similar. Don't feel guilty using your sick time.
