Can someone tell me how Starbucks managed to get their brownies to taste so good?? Like how did they get the texture so perfect?? (self.starbucksbaristas)

They have a secret bunker in Seattle and they kidnap bakers and drink creators from all over the world. That's why sometimes you get a bizarre concoction like Juniper Latte, the prisoners are trying to send a message to the outside world and praying for rescue.

I wish they would kidnap me. I bet they pay better than regular brick n stone stores. And I sadly never got to try the juniper latte. Maybe they would let me try it there.

It was bad as a latte, but the syrup in tea was good.

They are very fudgy and dense, so much moist doughiness. I'm thinking a copy cat recipe with coconut oil might get you close. This looks like similar texture from the pictures, and people have reviewed it glowingly. It's on my list to try:

I say coconut oil because I usually use butter or canola oil, and have never been happy with how my brownies end up. But recently I was super happy withe the dense, great result when I tried a "healthy" coconut oil recipe for banana bread and ended up with a much more moist, dense bread that didn't dry out, reminded me of my fave Starbucks banana bread, even after overbaking (it was a huge loaf pan and it kept failing the toothpick test).
