I work exclusively morning, with that being said I only see this person on occasion. Though when I do, the reek of cigarette smoke. I’ve dealt with migraines since I was 12 and have gone to Nureologists for them in the past. One of my triggers happens to be the cigarette smell. Almost instant it happens, I feel nauseous and lightheaded on top of a migraine starting to form. I have talked to my SM about this 5 times, each time nothing gets done. They have said that they are going to talk about this with the person. Nothing, I dont expect anything to happen but I want to be able to be positioned away from this person, the SSV’s wont do anything when I tell them. I even went as far as asking my SM if I needed a doctors note saying something for my migraines, they said “No, dont worry Ill work on it”. Fast foward to today, Im on bar and the partner who smells of cigarettes walk in and gets positioned on bar, me on bar nearly passing out. After about an hour I get off, at this point im livid because I have discussed this with my SM several times and nothing. I made a Neurologist appointment, but its not till mid June. Is there something I could do with disability with Sedgewick and get accommodations through that since my SM wont do anything? What’s your response. Or do I quit? I’ve been thinking about getting another job anyways.
