I'm curious if anyone knows if our SMs and ASMs get bonuses if they stay under budget?
My previous SM never worried about money, as her husband was the bread winner. But my new SM is always complaining about money, and since she took over we have to fight months to get equipment fixed/replaced. She scolds us if things break, and refuses to make reasonable schedules because "we need to stay under budget".
So do SMs or ASMs receive bonuses if they stay under budgets?

managers get bonuses based on how well the store is profiting. there’s many factors that go into this like sales, drive thru times, labor, etc. in my opinion, the bonuses aren’t worth cutting corners and over stressing staff. half of it gets taken in taxes anyway.

That makes sense. Our SM doesn't spend a lot of time on the floor or in the cafe to see how stressed our partners are. Plus all the staff are afraid of her, so they wouldn't dare say anything when she's around

SM and DM bonues are based purely on sales targets. Store spend and profit doesn't effect the bonus.

idk ive never heard about that, i have however heard that managers get bonuses if their stores’ drive thru times are low, and if their customer connection score is high

SMs bonus on sales. They have to make sales targets. If they aren’t making sales targets DMs will start getting really strict with labor and other items that spend money - ordering, fixing things, etc.

Yes, ASMs and SMs are “incentivized to meet store goals” with bonuses - AKA if they keep store spending (on parts AND labor) under X amount, they get a quarterly bonus. This has been confirmed to me by a previous SM and a DM that wanted me to advance to ASM. For the most part those bonuses are just rewarding and encouraging negligence.

I’ve gotten bonuses while running a store that was losing money every quarter but still hit my sales goal.
