Is this normal? My SSV and I were doing our routine ice bin cleaning for clean play, and we found what looks like metal shards and rust in our ice machine. Has anyone else seen something like this? It can’t be good for the ice. (reddit.com)

This happened at my store before, you have to call facilities and they will bring you a new machine. The metal flakes are bits of nickel from the inside of the machine. We picked up a bunch of ice from another store and they brought in the new machine in a few hours.

This is how I found out I was allergic to nickel.
