hi all! i just had my interview today at 930 and she offered me the position pending background check, and said that i would receive an email where i consent to the background check. she said the email comes quickly and if i don’t see it to check my spam, it’s now almost two hours later and i still don’t have it in any inbox, so i was just wondering if anyone knows if the background check email can take longer?

Quickly is usually 1-2 days.

background check has definitely been weird for awhile. it can be done in as quick as a day, or it can be sent to your inbox within a few days and it can take several days to process. it’s probably not your sm procrastinating it, it’s likely just taking a bit. if you don’t see it in your inbox after a couple days go ahead and shoot your sm an email, and they can check on the process.
