so i’m a licensed store worker, and i don’t get starbucks too often, but the closest one by me is a normal corporate store, or whatever they are called, a franchise maybe. i haven’t been in there since i started working at starbucks, snd unfortunately this time i was coming in 12 minutes before closing. i understand that it’s annoying when someone comes in and your just trying to do pre closing, but at the same time you’re still open yk? we get people coming in like this and sure if it’s a long day i might be tired and annoyed but i would never be an asshole of course. a lot of the time they don’t even know we’re about to close so 🤷♀️ but going in i could clearly see annoyance and there were 4 employees out in front , and one barista just slowly walked over with an annoyed expression and gahhhh you could just tell :( my sister and i ordered a peach green tea lemonade and dragon drink, in my opinion nothing crazy or too difficult right?? while waiting for the drinks, i saw the barista who took our order talking to their coworker, nod over to us(the only ppl in there) and they were laughing :/ not sure what about but it made me really anxious, and ofc feel even more bad. we were given the drinks with attitude and i said thank you we appreciate it, have a great night! and i just a got a dry you too back.
i read into situations a lot and try and have positive interactions with other baristas, but most have been like this. i think im just looking to get other’s opinion on this 😖
