Creepy customers (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by SoulSl00t
One of our baristas (who is a minor) was taking a customers order and he interrupts her to ask what school she goes to. Keep in mind this is a 50-60 year old man talking to a high school student.

We also have a man who comes through our drive through and if he hears a feminine voice on the box he asks if he will get to see whoever it is at the window. Luckily our shifts are super protective and clear the window area to handle the transaction solo.

Ohh yea i definitely have a creep who visits my store. He comes almost every morning and he's probably in his 50s somewhere but he comes and orders his Grande nonfat cappuccino and then he would always ask for one of those Stoppers/splash guards and then whenever I would hand it to him he would grab the stopper by touching my entire hand as he's grabbing it. So I started to hold the stopper right at the very tip of it and he still swiped his entire hand over my entire hand when he was grabbing it. So then I started putting it in his cup for him but he would always be standing or sitting on the side of the bar where customers can watch you and he would always see that I'm finishing up with his drink and then I started putting the stopper in there for him but he would see that I was about to do that and then he would get ready and come stand at the counter and before I even get a chance to put his cup down he would reach his hand out to grab it from me and then he would swipe his hand over my entire hand even if I'm holding the cup from the very bottom as far back on the cup as I could be holding it

Ugh disgusting I hate when they caress your whole hand. There’s quite a few who do a 2 hand pet to grab their coffee at window 🤢

Yep its so disgusting and the guy at my store literally stares thru ur eyes into ur soul so i stopped making eye contact with him. Idk why they think an hourly paid barista would respond well to that

What is a 2 hand pet?

That sounds creepy

Like they grab your hands with both of their hands and pet the top of your hand while pulling away with their coffee.

after he touches you literally dunk your hand in sanitizer while making eye contact with him

I am the overprotective one who will rudely run interference on any creeps that my fellow baristas don't like

one time, some broke guy came into the cafe and was trying to hit on a coworker of mine, so she went into the back and i handled the rest of the interaction until he left. at one point, as i was finishing with him at the handoff plane, he lingered a bit awkwardly.I asked him if he needed anything else, and he asked if he could speak to the other girl that was there (3 of us in the store)

i was like, "oh, which one?" and he said "the pretty one" and you could tell he realized his mistake a moment after saying it. all i did was put on a big smile, and again asked "which one? we're all pretty here c: " i am not conventionally attractive, and i am never hit on by creeps. i rarely if ever think i look pretty. but i could NOT just let that fool live when he dug himself such an easy grave to be pushed into. i laughed as he left the store, confused with himself.

usually tho, i'll just fucking barge into a conversation and take over. most of the exchanges are not as eventful or amusing as that one was.

there’s a creepy guy who comes to get oatmeal in the morning sometimes when i open. the one time i didn’t open on a wednesday, he asked my coworker “where’s the white girl, with the currrrvesss” and said it just like that. my coworker told me this the following wednesday when i opened. all of us don’t like him lol…

we have a rude lady who made one of the other customers in our café tie her shoe today (he was working on his laptop).

He obliged because I think he assumed she has a disability, though I'm fairly confident she does not.
