Perks of an understaffed store ig I didn’t experience any hours cut

Blessing and a curse. Need to work to afford vacation. Need vacation from work. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

Wish I was getting these hours

i’m getting a hot 5 hours this week

our store is understaffed and they still cut our hours but i’ve gotten mine back more lately. need a vacation tho soon im feeling overworked

Time for a cruise (less stress cheap around 300 to maybe 800 for 4-14 days free food and drinks)

I wish I could only work 39 hours a week :(. Starbucks gives me 25, main job is salaried so I work 40-45, and then I have a third on Sundays for about 5-6 hours. I am tired. Being separated with two full households to support sucks bad.

But really, do take time off if you have it. That is what it is there for, unfortunately I usually use my main job PTO to work at Starbucks because I need the money/benefits.

is your store unionizing? im starting to think that’s why our hours are bad because our sales are up, everyone’s availability is open, we’re understaffed, and still only getting scheduled 10-25 hours max. and the shifts are the only ones getting the 20+

yes book that vacation! i went on one a couple weeks ago and i feel refreshed and can do my job better since then. it’s worth taking the time off

I wish I could have this or more each week. Right now I'm at about 35 scheduled which means I'll always have to pick up shifts to make that 40
