I would reach out to your DM ASAP to make sure your transfer goes through quickly. If your store is understaffed your SM may try to drag it out. You’re right, you definitely don’t get paid enough to deal with that crap and you deserve to be treated with respect and decency.

Oh i dont give a shit but if i encountered someone this rude, i would be matching their energy and voice tone if they continued ot after i tried to be nice. I would make them feel like the clown that they are acting like and i would just state things in a way to make her feel like a psycho. This shit is insane. I've had some insanely irate customers at my store but this...no i definitely wouldnt stand for this either. If she tried tailgating me or following me home, their day would just get worse for them🙂

Im so sorry you were treated like that. I’m so lucky I have partners who are willing to speak up and let a customer know they are wrong. My whole shift team is that way too. It’s not ok to let a customer berate a partner like that. My shift team knows that it’s ok to ask the customer to change their behavior. Some SSV aren’t comfortable de-escalating what could appear a minor situation. You did the absolutely right thing. I re use the sticker when remaking a drink from cafe or the DT hasn’t rung it up. I hope your transfer goes through! If you are getting push back reach out to your DM about it and let them know you don’t feel safe or supported in your current store.

Dude that’s so fucked. What kills me is that they’re really questioning and insulting your character/work ethic when people do this shit. It also clearly shows how awful they are as a person. Hope you get your transfer! And glad you got home safely 😳
