Anyone else not get covid pay??(self.starbucksbaristas)

I had covid and stayed out of work for 10+ days and my SM said she’ll set me up for it. A month later I didn’t get paid so I texted her and she said “I’m not sure if it got approved” ???? Get what approved I literally had covid for the first time…. I even have back problems and when I tell my SM she says she’ll look into partner care and now she’s only scheduling me once a week… seems like she’s avoiding it. Is it just me facing these things? They make me Feel like an idiot

It should be an automatic pay after your manager puts it down as catastrophe pay. You did a PCR test right? Starbucks will only accept that you have it with that test not a rapid.

It’s not automatic. Your Sm does need to enter it. I’m assuming you took care of your part of uploading a pcr test to the COVID coach platform? And then your Sm gives you CAT pay for any shifts within the first 5 days of being out. Beyond that you would need to use your sick time.
And if you need an accommodation call Sedgwick. A SM is not allowed to make one.
