My manager told me that I have to attend a lunch at another store where all the POQs in the district gather and talk with the district manager. Is it really mandatory and do they give you anything or is it just a little appreciation lunch or something?

It’s not mandatory. My district had to cancel it cause no one was able to attend so they just gave out t shirts and gifts.

Not mandatory, not every district does that.
