So for context I’m one of the four consistent clean play baristas at my store, and I absolutely love doing drains. I also do take pride in my dedication to scrub them as clean as they can get. A certain SSV has complained previously (I’m estimating like a month ago) that I leave too much bleach on the floor when I clean drains. Since then I’ve made an effort to wipe up my bleach after cleaning the drains. My latest clean play I wasn’t assigned drains. Found out today from the shift that leads clean play that that same SSV made the same complaint and told them I shouldn’t be allowed to do drains any longer. Is it just me or is this sort of ridiculous? Everyone else I work with hates doing drains. Also the partner who was assigned drains left them stained and with bleach on the floor as well (not their fault as they’d never done them before). I just don’t really understand the problem. I’ve tried to wipe my bleach up, if it’s such an issue I’ll make sure to do it completely. Why am I being banned from something I enjoy doing and am good at?
