Omg I get that a lot, I just act like I’ve never seen a computer before in my life.
Normally, I’d be happy to try to help someone, but the past few years Starbucks has been all “to hell with actual genuine connections, go back and chain yourself to your station!” That, and there’s a very slim possibility that helping them might actually make things worse and then they’ll blame me for damaging their property. Same thing goes for customers’ phones.
