Right?! I’ve seen people order caramel macchiatos with no caramel drizzle and upside down with no foam several times. Go figure.

Cuz a good 70% of our customers don’t know what they are ordering. I get 80% of teas said to not be sweetened then they get mad it doesn’t say it on the sticker, even tho we haven’t had it standard sweetened for a while, most of these customers I’ve explained before that it come standard unsweetened now

It’s usually for Star challenges. There was a mocha Star challenge recently.

mocha is typically chocolate coffee — but at as you know, our “mocha” is just a coffee-less chocolate sauce. however, some people hear us refer to it as mocha, and automatically assume it comes with coffee. i’ve had to explain this to many customers. it’s unnecessarily confusing

Some people genuinely also think they have to order a mocha vs regular latte. Not all customers are the brightest bulb of the bunch.

Maybe they wanted the whip and thought it would cost extra??? Maybe??

ive gotten an order before for a caramel crunch but no dark caramel, no crunch, no drizzle and then they added the mocha cookie crumble ingredients (or vice versa, dont remember). like others have said im guessing it was a star challenge in this case too
