is anyone getting their hours back?? cause i’ve been stuck on 11-14 hours a week for the last few months when i used to have 30+ hours a week… 🙂

My store is seeing an uptick in hours but we’ve also hired more people and promoted a couple of shifts. We will see how everyone’s hours are after training.

still don’t have more hours even though many people that i know have more hours than me. when i bring it up to my manager, she just tells me that we have a lack of hours as a store and she can’t offer me any 🙃🙃🙃

nope,, a couple partners and i have only had 12 hours a week for the past two months and have had to pick up multiple shifts to survive lmao. my store has also just hired 3 people last month so we were kind of recovering from that then boom 4 MORE people this month. praying it goes back to normal soon 😭

im in the same boat!! we’ve hired 4 people in the past… 2 months?? and no one has seen an uptick in hours. the funny thing? our managers are saying that they’re STILL hiring. what about giving hours to people who desperately need them?? are we invisible

This is legit me. I just went and picked up a FT job since I couldn't get the hours I needed. Now Sbux only gets me for 16 hours a week. And I'm still wondering why we are hiring more people. Them doing this is definitely wanting us to unionize, especially when they outside hire instead of promote within.

The only thing I have heard is it's across the board union busting, I don't know how true that is. I was working 26-30 hours over 5 days, sometimes even pushing a 16 hour day just for money. And the irony hit today when I was asked to come in and cover a shift and my answer was nope, I dont have the gas. So I made the decision to find other employment in addition to Sbux since our store is overstaffed and we all have been struggling for 3 months and now more partners want more hours.

I feel like my store is doing something weird. Most people get like 20. They did before the cuts, during the cuts, and now. Maybe an off week of 18 or 25, but it’s not normal.

my hours only got cut for like a week when it first started, but they’ve also hired 2 more people. i’m scheduled for 10 hours next week and 4 of those is because i picked up a shift 😐 even the shifts who would get upwards of 30 hours are now getting 20ish hours

one person quit and there were plenty of people with the same availability, but they hired 2 more people anyways
