I do wish that the people who stood around and did bare minimum would get a pay decrease, with that money going to the people who are running around frantically doing everyone’s job for them.

Cleaning human waste from the restrooms. Every day, without fail, it is on the floors, the walls, eveywhere. People don't even try to make it to the bowl. I would never use that toilet they just don't make bleach strong enough.

I wish that, when partners call off and other partners are forced to suffer through the shift, it was time and a half. At least. It's absolutely silly to me that a company this big has no guidelines for store changes based on the number of partners available to work. I'm tired of busting my ass and drowning for 8 hours only to have to stay later than my scheduled out time because there aren't enough people to complete all the closing tasks.

I wish we got CC tips. Like after a customer orders their stupid drink, a prompt comes up for 20%, 25%, or a 30% gratuity. SBUX has way too many options to allow customers to modify the fuck out of their drink and not tip the barista for it

drive thru .. we make < the cost of 3 grande drinks in an hour and we are handing out 200+ drinks in an hour and with 7 baristas on the floor the company is paying ~ $100 and making ~$1000

An algorithm tells the powers that be how many partners should be on the floor based on sales. Any less than that, and the base hourly rate for the not scheduled or missing partner(s) should be split between who is there. Even if mobiles get turned off.

Getting compensated when people call out/ NCNS, working Sundays (especially doubles bc I’ve done a few doubles on Sundays) and CLEAN PLAY.

COLD BAR! at my store cold bar makes drinks for drive, mobile, and cafe. it’s insane

when i’m comboing dto and dtw and dt bar on a sunday 15 minutes after i should have left on a day i’m scheduled 15 minutes under six hours (so i don’t legally have to take a 30 🤪)

Anytime I have to do more than one planted position. Can I do it? Absolutely. Will I do it? Yes, it's my job. Is it fair? Not in the fucking slightest. Recently my ASM and I had to close the cafe and mobiles because it was just us. I got paid the same rate for doing a 7 to 8 person play with 1 other person.

i feel like we should get pay raises frequently, i’ve been there for a year tomorrow and i get paid the same as the baristas who start today.

im a barista trainer, and yeah i get a bonus for training but it’s like $65. that’s basically nothing to me and it sucks to say it like that but it’s true. i work 25-30 hours each week and my paychecks are only like $400. idk i think im getting burnt out from starbucks though, might quit soon. they really need to learn how to keep workers

Customer connections…why should anyone care about the stupid scores besides the manager. Imagine salespeople not getting commission. They would have no desire to put any attempt in making the sale.

deep cleaning tasks. specifically mopping, cleaning the bathrooms, and cleaning the drains. as a closer, i do this daily yet no one in the morning ever has to. they get to be just a barista, yet i also have to be a custodian.

TBH facing customers. Making the drinks and doing the little tasks was fun (no longer a partner) but dealing customers sucked the life out of everything. NGL i would have loved a situation where we just did our work and no one was able to yell at us.

Solo windowing during peak while still having to cover your own food. Not my fault that times are slow. I'm doing the work of 3 people.

Explaining to customers (when I’m on cafe/mobile bar) who see me running around making drinks, grabbing foam and tossing sprinkles that yes. They’re drink is in fact on the way and no the sticker didn’t get lost.

Shift leading. I get paid 50p extra than minimum wage to lead a shift and for the responsibilities that come with that, it's not worth it. I wouldn't have accepted the role but I needed the experience of a supervisory position because I didn't have it previously.

Having to work on Sunday like Sunday should be time and a half just like Costco.

Solo bar. Hands down. I hate doing drive-thru bar, cafe bar... along with mobile/delivery orders. It gets insane.

Most of my shifts after 6:30 were running on a 2 or 3 floor so I'm usually soloing drive and making all drinks cafe mobile and drive. I want paid extra for those shifts

I should get a $100 bonus for every clean play
