confusion about the pay raise (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by dazedinreverse
In the weekly update it said that partners would be getting raises up to $15 or 3% whichever is higher. Is this also for partners who already make more than $15/hr?

Yes that’s why it says whichever is higher.

i think there should be a link somewhere on the top left of the partner hub page for it. i'm not 100% sure cuz i haven't looked myself in a long time but it needs to be on a store computer

You can pretty much only access it from a Starbucks device. It’s available under the Store Resources app on the IPad, and if you log in to partner hub from a Starbucks device it’s also available under the “Store Communications” tab at the top of the list on the homepage.

The also added the weekly update to the store resources section on the iPad. I think it has like the last 3 weeks

The answer is yes, anybody already making 15/hr or above (or the equivalent starting rate as a SSV) will still get a minimum of 3% pay raise. The 3% is in addition to any new market starting rate for partners hired before 5/2/22, and if I remember reading correctly it also means those partners who meet this criteria who are being raised to 15/hr on Aug 1 will also get the 3%.

For other tenured partners the raises are higher. The original letter outlined it like this:
Partners with 2-5 years of experience: a 5% increase in total pay or 5g above the starting rate, whichever is higher.
Parters with 5+ years of experience: a 7% increase in total pay or 10% above the starting rate, whichever is higher.

For example, as an almost 3 year parter I’m eligible for the 5% range. My district is already as the 15/hr (19.05 for SSV) minimum, and I make over the SSV minimum. That means I should be receiving 5% above my current pay rate on Aug. 1.

Edit: fixed info I had mixed up.
