Maybe to have feedback on why they left, what they could do better, what they did well… like a focus group. I see this as a good thing.

That's my guess as well. My last day is in less than 2 weeks, may fuck around and join, see if they actually let us give honest feedback. Cause I'm struggling with wanting to give honest reasons why I'm leaving, but not wanting to burn the bridge either, and it's a tough balance given that I'm primarily leaving due to poor management

I hope it’s all anonymous so that everyone who joins feels safe to be honest.

Honestly if there's a way to give feedback anonymously I'd let them have it. I'd hope they offer an anonymous submission cause I'm sure they have a lot of people like me with legit feedback who are too afraid to give it cause we need the reference/ want to leave on good terms

There are a ton of people who want to give real honest feedback!!! I think if they could for once acknowledge the the actual reality of work load, situations, practicality and implementation, and huge disconnect of corporate leadership with ground level partners, and how bad management (on all levels) is tolerated instead of pushing how it’s supposed to be ideology, then we wouldn’t have unionization be so heavy right now. Retaliation is a very real thing that gets disguised as being written up or fired for the “letter of the law” other infractions that others are let off on or being scheduled less hours, etc. Sorry this was a rant.

I joined and it's pretty meh so far. Kind of like they're trying to make a starbucks alumni group on LinkedIn.

Microsoft & Amazon (also headquartered up here) also have alumni networks. They’re really helpful in terms of networking.
