I cut the top half off to make a square block with the logo, set aside. Remove the bias tape (it goes around the edges of the apron), set aside.

Sew the bottom half into a tote (nothing fancy, just a shape that holds something, I think I did a taco and sewed the sides up), sew on the patch made from the logo, then see the bias tape as long handles.

I live in a city known for influencers and I make up some story of it being a limited edition bag from the grand opening of the Chicago roastery or the 500th sbux or whatever. Whatever insanity that seems plausible to someone obsessed with sbux gear to try and find one

Edit: I turned two into a sexy costume by basically sewing the bottom half to a full one. Not much work and a big Convo starter at Halloween parties. I have one or two for cooking too, and a few left in my closet...after donating extras to partners who wanted more when I left

that…is a fantastic idea. i love it
rudebii 54 points 1y ago
My gave mine to my mom. She likes wearing them while cooking, she thinks it’s fun. I think it’s kinda cringey, but my mom is having fun and I love her and like to see her happy.

Years ago when we had a new pastry launch we had pink aprons to promote them. My mom fell in love with that apron so I gave it to her after the launch. She uses this apron along with another green one to cook as well and she loves it 😅😂

this made me smile 😆

Take them to literally any Starbucks. U don’t even have to say anything. Just set them down near the registers. They’ll take them.
GlorisSkates 19 points 1y ago
If you’re on good terms with the store you came from you can always wash them and take them there. But I also like what the other posts are saying about repurposing them.
fookyall 15 points 1y ago
I donated mine (some) to the ceramics class at my college
accountedthrowaway5 10 points 1y ago
well i only have one green apron from when i was hired so if you’d like to send them my way i wouldn’t mind paying for shipping 😅
she_who_walks 10 points 1y ago
The technically correct response is, you’re supposed to return them to Starbucks when you quit.
whatisprofound 13 points 1y ago
I quit around the same time as my SM. I barely even turned in my store and safe keys. No one was asking for my aprons of all things, lol.
FrogInASpot 10 points 1y ago
honestly i’ll take ‘em if you don’t want them
mars_redacted [OP] 11 points 1y ago
i’ll ship them to you right now bro
ContentAd490 9 points 1y ago
I sold mine on eBay lol
Stink_Fish_Pot 6 points 1y ago
Me too. Couldn't believe what people were willing to pay for old aprons and pins.
animebotkiller 2 points 1y ago
how much did you get for them?
Stink_Fish_Pot 3 points 1y ago
Got 10-15 each for the greenies, 25 for my red apron, and 70 for my CM apron. I got 50 and 75 each for two POTQ pins, and 5 - 20 each for various other pins I had. Nitro, Blonde launch, Barista Trainer, Coffee Passport, etc.
AuntieRia1128 8 points 1y ago
Congratulations!! I see a lot of suggestions here, one more is to give them to some kids to play “Barista” with! I know I would have loved to have one when I was a kid!
TopDiscombobulated13 3 points 1y ago
Yes! My daughters class has a little Starbucks play area! I donated cups and syrup bottles for pretend play!

burn them in a bonfire. Not really, that would probably be messy…
EliMinivan 7 points 1y ago
Burn
RegularAsk143 5 points 1y ago
I had a GIANT bonfire and sacrificed them to the gods. It was great.
missycoy 5 points 1y ago
Sell them online to all the fanatics
snowflakenecklace 3 points 1y ago
before i left i just messaged the work group chat and gave them to my old coworkers! everybody always wants an extra apron. if you're still in touch with anyone i'm sure you can ask them to message for you or something like that.
Ibebarrett 3 points 1y ago
Drop off at a store or fire pit
jazzysoranio 3 points 1y ago
Technically, you’re supposed to turn them back in to your store when you quit. But most people don’t. If you see or know someone who does I bet you could make a cool quilt out of it.
Stink_Fish_Pot 2 points 1y ago
I took all my aprons and pins, ebay'd em and made a couple hundred.
TylerJ716 2 points 1y ago
You could try to sell them on ebay 😂😂 im being serious, not sure how much luck you will have but when I was looking around on ebay one day, people were selling them !
RutabagaSoft1973 1 points 1y ago
Also how’d you get so many we struggle to keep one
RutabagaSoft1973 1 points 1y ago
Burn it
CommitteeJazzlike185 1 points 1y ago
i burned mine lmao
decemberbites 1 points 1y ago
My old store had a few extras stored in the back in case a partner forgot their aprons, or spilled something on theirs while on bar! Maybe you can give it back?

On the other hand, using them as regular aprons while cooking is also a good idea. My dad likes to wear my old aprons around the house when he's cooking :)
