Hey, for your orientation it does depend on your manager/location, but this is how it was for me and how I think it's done across the board.
It'll be a lot of computer work, some videos and a lot of slideshows and quizzes for your first day! Then throughout the week that'll be mixed in with some hands-on training for the bar, brewers and till. My training took about two weeks, it depends how fast you go through the content and how much your trainer will task you with. After that you'll be trained on opening/closing shifts as well.
And don't worry about feeling like you'll be all on your own after your training, there'll always be supervisors and managers you can go to for help!
And you can wear what you want, but business casual that matches the dress code will be just fine! Good luck!
