After like 10 times of the same guy coming in and asking to be double cupped, I realized there is no option for double cup on the app and venti in a venti is how they try to tell you that.

i like that he’s using it in that way!! but i’ve never had any of my venti in a venti/grande in a grande customers ask for another cup, i swear they just wanna press more buttons. i wish they were actually trying to communicate something to me 😂

Omg it’s great. Apparently the only state that it’s working in is New York. But I had a lady get mad and told us to turn it on, especially when I told her it’s a nationwide problem

Upstate New York partner- It glitched on occasion and sometimes mobiles and delivery would start coming in and then not. We had one lady at the drive thru, comment:
“I’m sure you’ve heard this already but your app isn’t working.”
Me: “Yup, unfortunately it hasn’t been working since this morning and it’s a nationwide issue. My manager told us it may take an hour but it’s taking longer than expected.”

our system at our store broke down a week ago and we couldn’t take orders, after that we couldn’t play music, our bar stickers were routed incorrectly, so chaos. this brings me a lot of happiness, i can’t believe starbucks is so disorganized

Honestly this has made my whole day really hard. We usually don’t get foot traffic but today we didn’t have mobile up so they all came inside. (They don’t schedule for foot traffic) so we have no body to cover r1 for it all 😵💫

My cafe store does almost 70% mobiles during peak. The app being down just meant that they all came in, and peak lasted twice as long.
I got a good laugh though, when one of our regulars asked me what he orders. He has it saved, and doesn’t know what he gets. 💀

I just transferred into a new store because I moved states. I noticed they're typically a little slower than my old store. Today I was put on cafe/mobile for peak and sat there like "Dang, they really are so much slower. I don't like this" and then found out that mobiles were just down😂 we later rerouted the printers to hot/cold bar and had 3 people on cleaning/CS.

Dude mobile is fucking ridiculous. We served so many customers and none of them had to wait more than 2 minutes for each drink. We were caught up almost all day.

If I was at work today, I would love this, but I was trying to call out of my shift today and I don’t have my store number saved so I usually find it on the app and couldn’t 😂 I was too half-asleep to think of using the Maps app
