How does transferring stores work? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Hi! I work at my college town and am considering transferring to a store close to my hometown so I can be home for the summer. Are there any “rules” I should know about transferring? Like do you have to have worked a certain amount of time? I’ve been a partner for about 5 months now if it makes a difference!

And no corrective actions in the last six months. Depending if your district or the district you are transferring to is by the book you may have to go through quite a few steps. Talk to your SM and the SM of the store you want to transfer to about what the process looks like.
