Go ahead and check out that other location, but do it before you start any first shift at the other one you got hired at. I’m not sure on all the details but you don’t want them saying then technically you have to wait 6m to transfer to a different location, etc if you’ve officially started at one store.

Since you’re the one commuting everyday, see which one you like better.

I first went into a spot thinking I was gonna work at this newer bigger brighter location. But then I went to one that was actually closer to me (they were less than 5 min apart) and liked the team and flow of it better. So choose the place that will make you feel better, enjoy it more. I even asked one of the other managers that was currently working which location they liked better/ store manager culture, etc.

And I’m glad I chose the older location over the newer one because they definitely had more things down even if it was less sparkly then the new one. Good luck!
