Thinking of hanging up the apron, for good. (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by MemesandSpeech
Yesterday was total nonsense. Someone called out LAST MINUTE, No lemonade, we had around 150 orders/ in store customers in total in the past hour, miscommunication and partners getting away with stuff because there friends with the shifts.

Honestly, I came back because of the great benefits (No not the free spotify) and the possibility of ASU but the amount of b.s I go through is not worth it. Little tips, partners calling out constantly and manager's don't be doing their JOB!!!! Even if I request a transfer I feel like I'm still going to go through this b.s at another store.

I think I'm done...

I've been with the siren for 16+ years. I feel you on all you're going through but if ASU is still on the table, give transferring a chance. Nothing says you can't hang up that apron after you transfer. One thing I've always said about this company is that it's a sure fire job if you leave on good terms.

If you do decide to hang it up whether it's at your current store or the store you transfer to, low-key it (especially if it's at the transfer store). Go with its the 'it's not you, it's me..' ie you found a better job (more money/more fulfilling/better hours) whatever works for you. This way you always have it fall back on. You never know where life is going to take you and there are store all over this country, hell world. Keep it in your back pocket, if you can.

In the meantime, take deep breath and don't let them suck the joy from your day.

Good luck. 🤞🍀😊
