Honestly I told all my partners to let me handle any crusty who finds themselves salty over things we can't control. Made the day easier for all my partners and after 8 hours of watching people pop veins over not being able to use a card I just went home with a smile.

I went through a drive thru today and they mentioned it and I made sure to tip them because people can be so unnecessarily rude to the employees when something like that happens that they have no control over.

Yesterday this guy was literally yelling at me because I simply asked him to check his bank app to make sure that it went through on his end. After having an 11 hr shift this swine was not comprehending

Had a guy today genuinely ask "well, since I've been waiting for like 15 minutes and I can't even get anything, is there anything you can do for me? Cause this is ridiculous." So my shift cut in and apologized and then gave the guy his name and the interim sm's number...

My shift was cursed today. First we can’t accept debit, we have two call ins for close, and then a major storm blows through and we were out of power. The only good part was getting to send my team home with catastrophe pay.

Even scanning credit/debut cards through the app was down at my store. Even some of the starbucks gold/gift cards refused to work. No one wanted to mobile order and we ended up with 25-30 people crammed in our small lobby and drive through was out of the parking lot all the way out to the entrance of the plaza.
And I was the only person working that wasnt brand new (month or less).

This happened back in 2015 too when I first started working there and my shift abandoned me because he thought he was gonna get fired 😭 glad to see nothing has changed

They were down all last Saturday and it as HELL. People kept asking if they could use Apple Pay or debit. Like what is your Apple Pay attached too? Your credit card 🤦🏼‍♀️

The way customers can just load their cards from their phone to pay. You can really tell when people have never worked in the service industry🤡
