so my roommate and i both work at the same store, which is one of the select stores that raised their minimum to $15 an hour a little while ago. well, we’re planning on moving, which involves transferring stores, but since they haven’t gotten THEIR raises yet, will we still make $15/hr or will it be docked to their minimum? pls help!

Most likely you’ll be reduced to the new store pay. I’m not super sure, but when I transferred to a different state I received a $1 pay deduction because the cost of living was lower where I moved so they pay was lower too.

unfortunately they’re probably gonna deduct your pay. i just transferred stores a couple weeks ago and i was cut $1. it’s super frustrating and it honestly shouldn’t be legal

it's possible, but the entire company will be paying $15/hr min by august 1st, so if you could possibly hold out until then your pay wouldnt change.

that’s probably what i’m gonna end up doing tbh, sounds like the safest option
