Hmm never heard of a virtual interview for Starbucks…but im betting it’s using Zoom. If they said virtual interview then it will be over video. They ask basic customer service questions, even if you haven’t had a job you can relate things to school and such. My manager really liked that I seemed to know about the company, like I talked about the benefits and how it was one of the reasons I wanted to work there.

I did a virtual interview, it was on Microsoft teams, they asked behavioral scenario questions like another response said. Just make sure you have good wifi

Starbucks likes to ask “behavioral scenario questions” like, “tell me about a time when you had to diffuse a tense situation.” During my interview I ran out of stories so I would take something that happened and adjust it to make it fit the question. Just be genuine, be a real person. When they ask, “hi so-and-so, how are you?” Say something that prompts a conversation, like “pretty good, I changed my shirt like 5 times trying to find the best one!” I said almost that exact thing in my interview and we went on a little tangent about the Starbucks dress code. They love when we talk to the customers and make small talk so showing you can do that easily in the interview will set you apart. Most other people will just say “great, how are you doing?”
