Started off at a Tarbucks… based on my experience you do practically everything alone. It can be very stressful when your busy and you have to take all the orders, make all drinks, do prep, close up the store. It SUCKED! Not to mention no more free drinks, no more Spotify or ASU benefits. Your a Target employee not a Starbucks employee. Tarbucks was not a good experience for me hence why I left after a few months and moved onto a corporate Starbucks. My Starbucks store now is absolutely amazing and I really enjoy it. Just based on my experience, I would try Tarbucks and if you don’t like it maybe consider a different Starbucks location.

So I worked at a pretty high volume target and our rating were high. So b/c of that we didn’t really work alone only during breaks. They made an effort to have someone who was trained at lest to use the register. So when we got busy when we were alone we had some help. Yes, you don’t get Starbucks benefits you get target benefits. 10 % or 20 % ( on wellness ideas ) but we would need to use cash, target gift card or sign up for a red card to get that discount. Depending on how well staffed they are will effect hours but you can sometimes work other departments to get more hours. I was pretty luck my etl respected the hrs I was available to work. As for drink yes we would have to pay for drinks if we took them on are breaks. But we were allowed to test and taste drinks. Sometime we would get free drink/ or food . Didn’t have to be from Starbucks as a reward. They also would have food and snack in the break room for some national food holiday. I personally didn’t have it bad. Idk if I just got lucky with my team
