Hi so I’ve been working at Starbucks for about a month and I make $15.50 in the Bay Area. I’m moving to SoCal (OC area) in the fall for college and am interested in transferring to the Starbucks near my school. If I were to get approved for the transfer, could I possibly get $16 or $17 if I ask? Or are we basically stuck at MW? I would have had a few months of Starbucks experience and I also technically have 1.5 years of drink making experience (first job was a boba shop but honestly it helped me pick up the flow of Starbucks easier even if SBX has more/different drinks), and I’m 21 with an associates degree (idk if that makes a difference but basically I’m saying I’m not a teenager).

A lot of places in California start at $16/17 rn for even typically MW jobs like mc donalds and in n out.
