exposed to covid but negative test- should i let my SM know? (self.starbucksbaristas)

went to a bunch of grad parties this week and my mother ended up with covid, i have been around her since she tested positive and the other day started feeling sick. today i'm feverish and have covid symptoms but i tested negative via a rapid test. what should i say to my SM, if anything? i fear being written up or asked to find coverage ;-;

No you cannot work while you have symptoms of covid. You'll fail the covid check. Call the store and let your SM now you have covid symptoms. You'll have to stay out until your symptoms pass. If your SM is shit and tries to make you work, do not. Do not risk giving all your coworkers covid because your SM sees you as expendable.

i mean if you’re sick you should call out. just tell them you’re sick. u won’t need to find ur own coverage if you’re sick
