Anyone else have problems with cleanliness at their store? Our store manager doesn’t care that there’s mold in the pumps mold under where we keep the refreshers, the fact that morning improperly dates things and it’s so exhausting. Anyone have advice because I bring these issues up just to be brushed away and say it’s clean plays job when clean play is understaffed and only has an hour after close when the whole store is a mess

It's every single individuals job to uphold cleaning standards, not just the sm. Call your dm if you feel like conversations with your sm aren't being taken seriously. Breakdown should be happening daily, it takes less than 10 minutes to properly clean all pumps.

He claims that pumps are only supposed to be done once a week only on clean play even though I’ve found mold in them

I completely disassemble all 6 pumps at my store every morning at 5am. It takes a few minutes to do the right thing and you don't need permission to do them yourself. I would suggest you speak to your DM immediately.

If you feel more comfortable reporting it anonymously you'll want to call into partner resources. Your DM is still the best person to call because they can come into the store and quickly identify problems. When was the last time your dm visited?

oh god, i feel like my store is the cleanest store ever. We hav cleaning tasks every morning. We knock out ice bin, drains, floors, syrups by 8am. We have a list at every station and cross them off once we are finished. I would definitely talk to ur manager about it. If not report it to ur district manager.

do you mind if I ask about that list and cleaning tasks for ref? I feel like my store needs a LOT of help wrt cleanliness but I'm new and not sure how to bring it up. our morning crew in particular never cleans 💀

we have 2 laminated lists on bar and cold bev. They have “wipe out fridges, scrub drains, clean syrups, and ice bins”
