I keep seeing posts about a raise l, does this apply to Canadian partners as well? If so, does it only apply to partners that were hired before a certain date? Any info is appreciated! Thank you!

fellow canadian partner! my manager told us a few weeks ago the 5% raise applies to us as well

I think it’s 5% if hired before May 2022 and goes up to 8% depending on how long you’ve worked at Starbucks.

I see, thanks for the info! Do managers have any discretion? Or is it just a predetermined formula they have to follow?

There was stuff about it the the weekly update from a few weeks ago. From what I understand its a raise to $15/hr or 5%, whichever is higher effective July 11th. It also may differ depending on province, I am in BC for reference
