Is it SM or DM who decides to fire ssv? We have two stores in our city, one of which is really understaffed to the point of sending our store baristas to them. The reason why is because the new SM, who used to be our ASM, is not exactly great.
Within the last two days two ssvs have been fired from that store for theft of a bag of chips. I know the SM is petty and all but with them being so short staffed it doesn't make sense to me she'd be doing it. Would the DM be behind it? They pulled up footage from JANUARY when one of them picked up one bag without paying.
I understand theft is a fireable offense it just doesn't make sense to me they're combing through footage from months ago?
