Does 5:30am-2:00pm feel long? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Crazykeyz
I work that shift this Sunday and I normally don’t work past like 12 or 12:30.. I changed my availability for the future. Just feels like a long day and Sundays already suck cause of how busy it is so I’m burnt out by 11

Yes. For the past almost 9 months I've been with sbux I've worked either 5-1 or 5:30-1. Recently I've been scheduled either 6-2 or 6:30-2:30 and I feel like I'm leaving half the person I was after getting there. Not sure what changes after the one o'clock hour 😬

Edit: this is always/only on Saturdays

Weekends are always a shit show at our store, especially between 8 am and 3 pm. It’s constant. Is your store similar? Maybe that’s why it feels different because there’s not as much time between customers to think or breathe lol

I hate working weekends 🤣

I'm sure that's it. And the past few weekends we've had to close down drive-thru halfway through my Saturday shift due to register issues.

Weekends are the worst 😫 I like my baby shifts of 4-8 during the week 😂

I’m literally conditioned to not work past noon loool I’m part time so most days I only work open to 10/10:15ish

Seems normal to me. I regularly work 4:30-1 on Sundays. It's an 8hr shift after subtracting the lunch
